Tuesday december first.

Ok. It's 2:30pm. I woke up right about 2pm. Yes reader, your faithful host had an intresting and pleasant night last night. I walked in the door and the last time I looked at the clock before passing out was 7:00 A.M. (The sun was coming up). I don't suppose I can start with an intro like that and not tell you what happened, can I . That wouldn't be fair, or even nice at all.

(day after day
you live like a wreck
the powers that be
just breath down your neck
You get no respect
you get no relief
you gotta speak up and yell out your piece)

Well, prelim stuff. Got back from my trip sunday night and called Lane, the girl I met last week, (you should remember. ) We talked for quite a while, and she seemed pretty nice. So then yesterday, went to work, had an annoying, pretty unfun day. So went home and paged Wayne and Mel and asked them if they wanted to do anything. We decided to go to see Very Bad Things at 9:45 at granada. So then my mind asked me, "Why don't you invite Lane?" And the other part of my mind said, "Yeah, why the hell not?" (surprisingly, they actually agreed.) So gave her a call, let her know what was going on, and she said she would love to come. We all go to dinner and then to see the movie, and then Wayne and Melanie went home. Up to this point I really couldn't tell if Lane was interested, or if I was in the "Friend Zone", etc. etc. all that bullshit. So we just sat down and started talking. The next time I remember looking up from our conversation was about 3 in the morning. Yes, it was actually pretty good. We talked pretty much all night. I ran her home about 5, we sat up and talked and played with the cat, and I finally got home about 6:30. Very enjoyable night overall. I'm pretty sure we'll see each other again.
Well, just got a phone call from her, we're gonna hang out later today.

I went to a CD store yesterday, CD WORLD. I bought 2 cds, 2 punk compilations, and I don't like one of them. They had a big sign hanging on the wall, "If you are not satisfied with any of your CD's, even because of the music, bring them back and we'll exchange them. We want our customers TOTALLY satisfied."

So I'm gonna take it back and see how much of a bullshit hassle they'll give me. I don't expect much of one, and shouldn't get much of one, but you never know. The guys that run the place seem pretty cool.

(I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again
I talk to kids at a wishing well
my thoughts send me on a carousel

here I am, standing on my own
have no voice upon the telephone
I know, its' not a reason why
so it's just a reason to die

just you wait and see
as your life is a world country
aren't you feeling alone
I guess it's just another night alone.

Now I can walk down the street
I need a job just to sleep and shit
buy food every once in a while
but not enough to purchase a smile

a tank of gas is a treasure to me
I know now that nothing is free
I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again.)

I also want to see a bugs life.

One thing. Very bad things was very very bad, and that made it hilarious. If you like dark comedies, this is one of the darkest I've seen in a long time. (but you have to know you can laugh when bad things happen.)
And not feel TOO bad.. ;-)

Well then reader, that brings us to the end of today.

May the forces of evil become confused on the way to your house..
